◎简 介
保罗·阿姆斯特朗Paul Armstrong(肖恩·康纳利 饰)是哈佛大学著名法律系教授,退出诉讼界已多年.他被来自佛罗里达州伊维格市的一名青年黑人学生波比Bobby的鸣冤信而感动了:原来当地警方为了侦破一个小女孩的绑架谋杀案,严刑逼供波比Bobby,使这位有着大好前途的年轻人屈打成招沦为死囚.保罗Paul决定挺身而出为其辩护,经过周密调查,在波比Bobby的狱友提供的信息帮助下,保罗Paul似乎找到了真凶,足以还波比Bobby清白之身.
