CGI
搜索引擎不会搜索以 CGI 或 Database 产行的网页。
在 URLs 中含有特别的符号
例如链接中含有符号？会令搜索引擎停止搜索。
一图多链接（Image Map）
多数搜索引擎不会搜索 Image Map 所作的链接，解决方法是加上文字链接于网页下方。
框架（Frame）
很多搜索引擎并不会按框架的框窗搜索下去，它只会记录该一页。框架的使用者多不胜数，但易学难精。

框架使用的提示：
不支援框架的搜索引擎会如老的浏览器一样解读 <noframes> 标记中的东西，如果该一首页没有采用 Meta 标记的话，你的网页在搜索引擎中的描述便是 <noframes> 中的文字，
例如： Sorry! You need a frames-browser to view this page.
而且就算你的网页有几百页，它都只记下这一页，你当然不愿意吧，当然利用 Meta 标记可以解决一部分的问题，但有些搜索引擎并不支持 Meta 标记，它还是喜欢到网页内容中搜索，所以 <noframes>标记的正确使用便显得重要了。
正确的做法是在 <noframes> 标记中放入：

<body> 标记。这是搜索引擎和浏览器所需要的。
标题。
200 个字元以上的网页描述。
一个链接到其它的链接，好让搜索引擎搜索下去。
